Dutch Rusk Distributors was formed as a company in 1984.
Dutch Rusk is a completely family owned business.
Over the years we have grown to be the largest independent confectionery distribution company in New Zealand.
Dutch Rusk specialises in Route Trade distribution covering New Zealand with 11 full time sales reps.
In areas of New Zealand where our reps don’t cover, we have allocated distributors with our lines to cover those parts of the country.
In 2004 Dutch Rusk set up a partnership with a company to manufacture all bulk Gummys, Licorice, Marshmallow for our company in New Zealand.
We have the same business relationship with other companies who also specialise in manufacturing novelties exclusive to the New Zealand market. After successfully covering New Zealand for the bulk Gummys and Novelties in the Route Trade, we decided to enter the Key Account business with Family Bags as well.
Our suppliers’ equipment and the factory are conformed to international standards with international health certificates:
FDA Checking Report, ISO9001:2000, GMP and HACCP for American and European countries.
The mechanical equipment is from Germany and the UK, and for manufacturing our lines, we have a German specialist, Drouven and Fabry GmbH who provided us with the recipe of European quality and quality control.
We can manufacture any type of Gummy Marshmallow and Licorice you request, and package it to your own requirements.
Dutch Rusk also conforms to the NZFSA Approved Food Safety Programme.
